Delft Pottery and Delft canal tour

Royal Delft is the last remaining earthenware factory from the 17th century. Here the renowned Delft Blue is still entirely hand painted according to centuries-old tradition. At the Royal Delft Experience you will discover the complete history and production process of Royal Delftware. Here, you can feel the painters’ passion during a painting demonstration, admire the museum collection and wander through the factory where craftsmen are busy producing the products. For more information, please visit The Royal Delft website.

After this visit to the factoy you will take part in a tile workshop, which is a true classic and is as popular as ever. The tile that you will paint during this workshop is 13 x 13 cm. Possible decoration themes include animals, sport, a classic Delft design or a zodiac sign. Of course, if you prefer you could create your own design. After the workshop you can visit the Royal Delft showroom and buy your Delft blue souvenirs.

The Royal Delft earthenware factory is located near the Delft canals. After the workshop and your visit to the showroom the canal boat picks you up and sails to the historic city centre of Delft.
